The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase billable hours and enable sales target achievement. There will be goals and quotas. Hours to be worked are day shift, Monday to Friday. Hours to be worked for this position can vary.


POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to communicate, network, build strong relationships, educate, and follow up with referral sources in the agency’s service area.
 
This position requires a great deal of time to be spent in the community and hospital environment. 
 
The marketer will be responsible for generating new business, organizing, implementing referral development, and marketing and assessment programs to assure awareness and a positive community image. 
 
Must be able to work independently, set and track goals, and develop an effective community outreach program.
 
REPORTS TO: Administrator
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare management or marketing, preferably in home care.
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness, and team orientation.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
  1. Establishes systems for consistent marketing and implements marketing initiatives to meet agency business development goals.
  2. Visit, revisit, inform and educate network referral sources on a weekly schedule.
  3. Conduct educational presentations/information sessions to groups to raise awareness.
  4. Assist agency in developing, managing, and maintaining referral relationships.
  5. Acknowledge all network referral source contacts with appropriate correspondence.
  6. Continually research and identify sources for client referrals.
  7. Maintain records & provide reports on business development activities and progress reports.
  8. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the Agency’s markets, key referral sources, and position in the market related to competitors
  9. Develops and maintains information on available community resources and assists customers and staff in accessing services or information.
  10. Participates in the Agency evaluation in areas of marketing, program development, growth, and expansion.
  11. Works collaboratively with clinical staff to assure consistent message to the customers and the community.
  12. Participate in internal and external professional development activities as appropriate.
  13. Other activities as directed.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
