We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to assist in expanding our client base and establishing strong relationships with referral sources and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the senior care market, including retirement homes, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, and long-term care facilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including doctors, clinics, hospitals, and community organizations.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and establish partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets.
- Conduct presentations and informational sessions to educate potential clients and referral sources about our services and benefits.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the home care or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and generating revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the senior care market and healthcare system in Calgary is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25-27/hour with a maximum of 32 hours per week, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
