Job Summary:
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home care for clients in the Stevensville area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting individuals with their daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their overall well-being. This role requires someone who is attentive, empathetic, and dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centered care to clients who may have mobility limitations, chronic conditions, or require recovery assistance.
Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.

Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including using mobility aids (e.g., walkers, canes, wheelchairs) or helping with bed-to-chair transfers.

Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in conversation, and offering a comforting presence.

Meal Preparation & Feeding: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs or restrictions, assist with feeding if necessary, and encourage proper hydration.

Household Management: Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment for the client.

Medication Reminders: Ensure that clients take prescribed medications on time and according to their care plan.

Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition to healthcare providers or family members.

Transportation Assistance: Escort clients to medical appointments, run errands, or accompany them on walks or social outings.

Emergency Response: Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergencies, following established protocols to ensure client safety.
Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or CNA is preferred but not required.

Compassion & Patience: Must have a genuine desire to care for others and the ability to provide a nurturing, patient, and supportive environment.

Physical Strength: Ability to assist clients with physical mobility, including lifting, transferring, and positioning.

Flexibility: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays to meet urgent client needs.

Reliable Transportation: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to travel to and from client homes.

Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

CPR/First Aid Certification: Preferred but not mandatory; we will provide certification training if needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting and assisting individuals with limited mobility (up to 150 lbs with assistance).
