Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of caregivers to provide top-tier care to our clients in Kalamazoo, MI.
- Develop and maintain personalized care plans, ensuring they meet client needs and preferences.
- Oversee and schedule daily caregiving activities, ensuring proper staff coverage and timely care delivery.
- Monitor caregiver performance, providing feedback, guidance, and training as necessary.
- Conduct regular assessments of client needs and caregiver performance, ensuring care plans are up-to-date.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client families, addressing any questions, concerns, or updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain a high level of communication with caregivers, clients, and family members.
- Assist with the hiring and onboarding of new caregivers as needed.
- Promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork among staff.
Qualifications
- At least 4+ years of experience in home care or a related caregiving field.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in caregiving or healthcare services.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or relevant certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of caregiving best practices, regulations, and care plan development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing the highest quality of care.
- Ability to problem-solve and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and care management software is a plus.
