Job Overview:
We are urgently seeking an experienced Care Lead in Kalamazoo, MI, to manage and support a team of caregivers while delivering exceptional care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. If you have 5-6 years of caregiving experience and are passionate about leading a team, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist a team of caregivers to ensure high-quality care.
- Provide hands-on care as needed, including personal care, medication reminders, and companionship.
- Assist with training and ongoing development of caregiving staff.
- Ensure that care plans are followed accurately and provide feedback to improve care.
- Travel within a 1.5-hour radius to various care locations and client homes to provide support.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to address concerns and improve service quality.
- Maintain documentation of care plans and caregiver performance.
Qualifications:

5-6 years of caregiving experience in providing personal care and companionship to seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in the caregiving or healthcare field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with clients and their families.
- Ability to travel within a 1.5-hour radius from Kalamazoo, MI, to assist caregivers and clients at different locations.
- Compassionate, organized, and reliable.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
