Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Coordinator to join our home care agency team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our human resources functions, particularly in onboarding new caregivers and ensuring compliance with state regulations. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting our mission of providing high-quality home care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct orientation sessions for new caregivers, Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure they are well-prepared to provide care and understand agency policies and procedures.
- Audit, review, and update Home Health Aide (HHA) and PCA personnel records to ensure compliance with state of Georgia regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date files in accordance with agency standards.
- Scan and upload important documents into the master file system, ensuring that all records are easily accessible and organized.
- Assist with all aspects of the recruitment process, including:
- Conducting interviews and assessments of potential candidates.
- Verifying candidate documents and credentials.
- Coordinating e-verify and background check processes to ensure thorough screening of applicants.
- Stay informed about state and federal HR regulations related to home care and ensure that the agency adheres to all legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in HR coordination or administrative support, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and compliance regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
