ComForCare Home Care is looking for responsible, compassionate Home Health Aides with open availability in Brooklyn. Our aging Brooklyn population is vibrant, diverse, and needs your help to keep them healthy in the comfort of their homes, for as long as possible! Qualifications:
- Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification
- Knowledge of or experience in memory care
- Full Physical Report and Drug Screening
- 2 professional reference letters–within the past 3 years
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Patience, empathy, and compassion is a must!
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living, as well as thoughtful or creative activities to engage each unique client. Get to know your client’s likes, dislikes, stories, and personality! Depending on their individual needs, you may also be asked to help with:
- Dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Ambulation around the house
- Encouraging exercise and fluids
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Running errands
- Transportation to appointments
