Job Description – Office Manager Alternate Administrator
You will be assisting with the day-to-day operations and the compliance function of a Home
Care Agency consistent with the Agency’s mission.
Coordinating, evaluating and developing client care teams to ensure quality care delivery and
appropriate case management.
Serve as the primary contact for clients and families, addressing inquiries, concerns, and
complaints.
Ensuring the Agency employs qualified personnel by working with a team to adequately staff the
Agency. Assistance may be required to post jobs, conduct interviews and train new personnel.

Provides leadership in developing and maintaining data collection, recording, and reporting
systems to ensure quality service, data collection, and measurement of outcomes
Assisting with the Agency’s Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Program (QAPI)
Participate in establishing and maintaining public relations and marketing programs that
increase the public’s understanding of home care, foster relationships with other members of
the health care community, and contributes to Agency growth
Serve as the primary contact for clients and families, addressing inquiries, concerns, and
complaints.
Monitor client satisfaction and adjust services as needed to meet individual needs.
Manage scheduling and assignments of caregivers to ensure adequate coverage for all clients.
Ensure effective use of office technology and software systems.
Monitors social media marketing to ensure visibility such as Newsletters, Facebook, Instagram
and google posting.
Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
Implements adequate workflow systems, and monitoring mechanisms
Assures that paperwork/data entry is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Communicates Agency staff needs to the Administrator and/or Manager of Care Services
regularly and as needed to assure adequate levels of available staff.
Communicates with Manager of Care Services and Agency staff to assure that Agency tasks are
completed.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
May require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent needs. (phone calls)
Qualifications:
High School Graduate; College degree or some post high school training preferred
Has evidence of at least one (1) year of training and experience in direct healthcare service
delivery with at least one (1) year within the last five (5) years of supervisory or administrative
management experience in home health care or a related health program.
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level
Must be detail oriented and display a positive work ethic
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with
people
Demonstrates organization and time management skills
Speaks, writes, reads, and understands English
Demonstrates skills in organization, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution, and
the ability to work independently
Personal computer and data entry skills
