Job Description:
ComForCare Home Care is a franchise of premier in-home care providers. We take time to understand the needs of our clients and work diligently to keep them safe at home. With ComForCare, clients can live independently and continue to do the things they love. As a Scheduler at ComForCare, you will oversee the scheduling and coordination of client services, manage staffing assignments, ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations, and maintain confidentiality of client and employee information
What you will be doing:
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job, respecting client and employee records
- Efficiently manage and assign all client care shifts to appropriate caregivers.
- Ensure continuous client coverage by proactively staffing all shifts, including last-minute call-offs and new cases.
- Quickly fill all open shifts, prioritizing caregiver call-offs to prevent lapses in client care.
- Strategically manage schedules to minimize caregiver overtime hours and associated costs.
- Notify clients immediately of any changes to their scheduled caregiver.
- Maintain accuracy of all schedules, changes, and shift cancellations in the system.
- Help maintain high satisfaction levels for both clients and caregivers through reliable scheduling and clear communication.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous experience in staffing or as a scheduler
- Add any additional state regulated minimum requirements.
