About the Role:
Join our compassionate team at ComForCare Home Health Care - South Indy as a Caregiver in the Fairland Area. This rewarding position allows you to make a real difference in the lives of our clients while providing essential support in their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence.
- medication reminders and monitor client health as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving is a plus.
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar role preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and move clients as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
