Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Alameda County. This is an on-call position offering flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability.

Responsibilities
- On-call as-needed. The hired candidate will be paid for the entire time they are on-call, working or not.
- Provide companionship and emotional support 
 -Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting 
 -Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed 
 -Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary 
 -Perform light housekeeping and laundry 
- Provide medication reminders 
 -Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation 
- Observe and report changes in client condition 
 -Maintain accurate service documentation


Qualifications/ Requirements

-On-call as-needed - Weekday or Weekend positions available
-California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain registration before hire 
- Reliable transportation, requirement to travel anywhere in Alameda County
-Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus)
-Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care experience 
-CPR and First Aid certification, or willingess to obtain
-Experience supporting individuals with dementia
- Authorized to work in the United States
