About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at ComForCare Home Health Care in Slidell, LA, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in training and development programs to improve caregiving skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Background check and references required.
