Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Help with meal preparation and planning according to dietary needs.
- Monitor and record clients' health and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments and activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and ensure client confidentiality and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving preferred.
- Prior experience in personal care or home health care is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
