About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care - Burlington Camden is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our growing team in Cinnaminson, NJ. Caregiving Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor clients and promptly report changes in condition to supervisory staff
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform occasional light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being.
- Assist with medication reminders in accordance with care plan guidelines.
Administrative and Training Responsibilities:
- Use the SwyftOps app to manage schedules, clock in/out, complete EVV, and document care.
- Complete accurate and timely shift notes, care documentation, and incident reports.
- Maintain current certifications, credentials, and required documentation.
- Complete required online trainings, in-services, and competency assessments.
- Complete ongoing training in areas such as dementia care, fall prevention, infection control, HIPAA, and client safety.
- Follow agency policies, client care plans, and documentation requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and work independently in a home setting
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Burlington/Camden area
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Valid ID and ability to pass a background check & drug screening
