About the Role:
ComForCare In-Home Care - Baltimore/Carroll is looking for compassionate and dedicated caregiving professionals to join their growing team! Whether you're a PCA, HHA, CNA, GNA, Med Tech, or experienced Caregiver, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Administer or assist with medications as permitted by certification level (Med Techs)
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervisors
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate care records
Requirements:
- Active certification as a CNA, GNA, Med Tech, or verifiable caregiving experience (HHA or PCA)
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine passion for helping others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and own transportation required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- COVID-19 Vaccinated
- Up to date TB or PPD
- Up to date CPR and First Aid certification
- Previous home care or senior care experience is a plus
