We are looking for a relationship-driven marketing professional to help more families in our community find the care they need.

Position Summary

The Community Marketing Representative is the face of our agency in the community. You will build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, social workers, care managers, senior living communities, elder law attorneys, and community organizations. This role requires extensive Medicaid experience, including familiarity with NJ FamilyCare and Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS). You will help families and referral partners understand how to access Medicaid-funded home care and guide them toward the right next steps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory marketing plan to grow census and referrals across Morris County
  • Build lasting relationships with referral sources, including hospital case managers, rehab and skilled nursing discharge planners, physicians’ offices, Area Agency on Aging and ADRC staff, and managed care organization (MCO) care managers
  • Educate families and professionals on Medicaid eligibility, MLTSS enrollment, and the pathway to authorized home care services
  • Partner with our intake and billing teams to ensure smooth handoffs, accurate authorizations, and a positive start of care
  • Present at community events, support groups, caregiver conferences, memory cafés, and in-service trainings for referral partners
  • Represent the agency at networking events, chamber meetings, and senior-focused expos
  • Track activity, referrals, and conversions in our CRM and report on results weekly and monthly
  • Stay current on NJ Medicaid policy, MCO contracting requirements, and program changes, and communicate relevant updates to the team
  • Uphold the agency’s reputation by delivering honest, compassionate, and compliant communication at all times
Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in home health, home care, hospice, or senior services marketing or business development
  • Extensive, hands-on knowledge of Medicaid, including NJ FamilyCare, MLTSS, eligibility and application processes, and the role of MCOs and care managers
  • Proven track record of generating referrals and growing census
  • Strong existing relationships with healthcare and senior-services professionals in northern New Jersey (a plus)
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, anti-kickback rules, and healthcare marketing compliance
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends for community events
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Experience marketing dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory care services
  • Familiarity with Morris County’s aging services network and local caregiver resources
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

  • A mission-driven team that values compassion and integrity
