About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for compassionate and dedicated Caregivers / Homecare Aides to join our growing team in Orinda, CA. Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
  • Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client dietary needs and preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and errands
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
  • Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
  • Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • Previous caregiving, home health aide, or personal care experience preferred
  • Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plan instructions
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
  • Availability for part-time or full-time shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
